I’m a South African born mom of 49yrs, with a British passport. I lived in the uk from the age of 20yrs to 32yrs old when I moved back to Johannesburg, got married and had 2 beautiful girls. Whilst in the uk I lived mostly in Kent, where I bought my first home near Tenterden. I did a lot of care work around the whole of the uk whilst I travelled and eventually settled down working my way up from an office administrator to Private medical insurance broker in London. I absolutely love the English countryside and miss it immensely. My passions are cooking and gardening (and hiking and swimming in the ocean;) I’ve always grown a veggie garden, even for my first care job at 20yrs old in Sevenoaks for a retired headmaster! I trained as a chef in Cape Town after school and learned my love of cooking mostly working in private homes in the uk, so love roasts & gravy, soups & casseroles & fruit crumble!
