Female Available for full time personal care assistance, I'm a hard working caring and compassionate 27 year old. I've got 9 years experience in health and social care and have my SVQ Level 2. I've been working in a nursing home for 9 years but recently had a private position which was assisting a lady on a sleepover basis. I thoroughly enjoyed this and would like to do more days or nights. Unfortunately due to my clients needs changing I now have plenty free time to spend with someone else who requires some extra help. I am available for 3 days or 3 nights per week. I take a lot of pride in my work and provide happy and well looked after clients. I recently started a new and exciting career in health and social care as a Support Worker in a secure hospital for people with Autism. In a short space of time, I have established and developed some very friendly and positive relationships with service users with challenging behaviours which has been extremely rewarding for me and shows I have the necessary personality, values, attitude, skills and motivation to provide a safe, supportive and enabling environment for your service users. I completed my MAYBO conflict management training as part of my induction and will complete my Care Certificate shortly. I am also willing to to study for whatever qualifications necessary to develop my skills and knowledge in the hope of proving myself and finding opportunities to progress. I have a compassionate, caring, sensitive and patient nature and am flexible, positive, happy, outgoing, friendly and understanding person. I have excellent people and communication skills (verbal and written) with a talent for being able to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds and form positive and supportive relationships with people at all levels. I work equally well alone or as part of a team, can cope with the physical and emotional demands of the job, apply health and safety guidelines, have the ability to remain calm and function effectively under pressure and perform domestic duties efficiently. I have had 18 years service with the Childrens Services however I have now found myself to be on the redeployment register pending Redundancy my contract will end 4/5/16 During my time working with Children and Young People i have acheived an NVQ level 3 qualification in addition various traing opportunites to which are supported with a certificate I enjoy reading, TV and love animals.I at present volunteer my services at my local community library I am an hardworking ,reliable and trustworthy individual who will give my very best to my employer References available upon request ...
