I currently work with adults with autism, learning disabilities and mental health but I am looking for a change of career. I have had experience working 1:1 with adults and young children in a residential setting. I am looking to work as a live in carer as it would suit my lifestyle perfectly. I am an enthusiastic, friendly and caring young lady who puts 100% into ensuring I provide the best care and support for the individuals I look after. I would love to be giving the opportunity to work for you. ...

I am very passionate about working with and helping people. I have experience with the elderly, teenagers, children, adults and children with special needs/disabilities and have also worked with street children and orphans. Due to this I know that I thrive amongst people whilst travelling and setting myself new challenges. Over the past 8 years I have developed into an outgoing and approachable person. I consider myself to be a great listener with good communication skills as well as a hard, reliable worker. Within a job role, I am capable of taking on new responsibilities, whilst learning along the way. I learn quickly as I am eager to ensure that I can complete my job tasks to the best of my ability. Therefore, I would love the opportunity to be part of your team. Overall, this job appeals to me because it would be a new and exciting experience in which I would further develop myself and hopefully make a difference along the way. ...

I am a Male carer with a long experience in the care field (more than twelve years). In 2007 I was awarded NVQ level 4 in health and social care equivalent and worked for seven months, two of which as senior carer with learning disabilities and muscular dystrophy clients. Unfortunately, this qualification was not recognised in the UK so in February 2016 I got a Diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care accredited by City and Guilds. I am also working on a level 5 Diploma in leadership health and social care. I worked for different companies around the UK and gained experience in domiciliary care, residential and nursing homes, mainly with dementia clients. I also worked as a live-in carer for approximately two years and I gained experience in working with brain injury, learning disabilities, stroke, end of life, dementia, companionship. I am also a good chef and housekeeper. In July 2015 I joined the British Red Cross where I worked as support at home assistant, working both in Queen Alexandra hospital and in the community. My duties involved help people discharged from hospital to regain confidence with practical and emotional support, person-centred, befriending and companionship, access to additional services (organising activities). I am polite, professional and flexible and have a can-do attitude. I am an enthusiastic team player but I am able to work on my own, too. I have good communication skills and I am available to work early, late shifts and week-ends. At the moment I'm considering to work again as a live-in carer. ...

Hello my name is Andrew Helms. I'm looking at coming to the UK in October on a work visa, currently i live in New Zealand and have 7-8 years community support and a level 3 certificate in community support. 4 of those years looking after a man with brain damage. Offering full support to him and his needs. He suffered from conic tonic and atonic seizures. Which he took Eplim for. Because of his disabilities he was incontinent, and he couldn't stand unassisted so I would help him with standing hoists and frames. I even use to support him into the public pools and helped write up a support document on how to best support him in the pools. I'm considering moving to London no specific part yet just where I can find a job. Thank you. Andrew Helms ...
