I am a 37 year old British lady living in Gran Canaria. I have previously worked in care as a coordinator and home carer in the Bournemouth area where I studied for my NVQ3 in Social Care and Health, however this was back in 2006 so this is probably no longer valid. I would like to restudy for it again if possible and progress further. I have been teaching English in the last few years but would like very much to get back into care as I think it is so rewarding and I enjoyed the work very much especially working with the elderly. I am looking into the live-in care so that I could continue living in Gran Canaria on my weeks off. ...

I have experience in Caring for Elderly Adults and Adults with Disabilities after gaining a level 3 certificate in Health and Social Care at College. I have just come back from volunteering in Africa where I taught Maths and English for two months to children in an orphanage and day care aged 3-7 years. I then spent a month helping on a conservation program with a anti poaching program protecting the Black Rhino. I am a friendly, out-going, caring character. Animal friendly- cats and dogs are a huge bonus. I love chocolate, fashion, travel and having a good giggle. I pride myself as being a fun, positive and professional care assistant.
