Hello my name is Hazel Woodstock I have recently arrived home from looking after an elderly man who has advanced Multiple Systems Atrophy. This is an icureable disease which causes the muscles to slowly deteriorate. This required two 24/7 carers as the client could not move by himself, and could barely speak. As a carer I can adapt to situations. Befor my last live in position my job was home to home care seeing different clients in their homes. Before that job, I was a carer for another comoany helping kids as well as adults. I prefer live in care as it is more personal and you can divert 100% attention to the client. I am comfortable with pets. I am 19 years old. I have over a year's experience in care ; had plenty of training and have gained certificates. 1) initial training session 2) Health Education England, Skills for Care and Skills for health 3) Mandatory training.
