I am a very dedicated person, and I do not give up easily. I can quickly adapt to different environments, which the job may require. I have developed many skills such as teamwork, patience, professionalism, and multitasking while working for a pub, a charity shop, and Nando’s, which I am currently working for. Working at these places has made me learn how to adapt to new surroundings and to act fast. I've also volunteered a community centre I help set up activities such as arts and crafts and sports for children aged 10-17. I've also dealt with children with behavioural issues and trying to help them express these in different ways. The community centre also had adults with learning difficulties and different disabilities aswell. ...

Hello, my name is Sally and I was born in Surrey and grew up in Sussex. I trained at Gt Ormond Street and left to have my family. I returned to nursing and retrained at Sussex University in 1995-8. I filled in as a houseparent in a children’s home for many years before returning to nursing. I cared for my mother until her passing with ovarian cancer and then I retrained as an Occupational Therapist with an intention of moving to Canada. My son had a serious car accident and I deferred for a year but financially had to work so my student days were halted. I worked for two NHS trusts as a community worker in recovery and rehabilitation and crisis assessment. I later converted to mental health at Huddersfield University and this led to working with a severely depressed lady with disabilities from brain trauma. This was a private position on personal recommendation. I was then offered another private position supporting a lady with severe anxiety and dementia. This February my client passed away. I was immediately called upon by word of mouth to assist a couple locally. I have set up a care package package and supported the family in all aspects of their parents care. The role is quite simple now and I am passing it onto a small care team that I formed and managed for six months. I can supply excellent references. My family are grown up, eldest a head dietitian in the NHS specialising in eating disorders and both my daughters work in social care as seniors, my youngest is undertaking his Masters at Kings College London . I love to travel and study and am completing a foot health care practitioner course, having passed theory I just have practical to challenge me. I will build my business around my care work. When at home I walk my little patterdale Isla and she demands 2 miles every morning. I am updating my care certificate but I am fully competent. I drive and have a good car. I am willing to work anywhere. ...
