I am 56 years old ex forces and have worked in numerous fields before training as a nurse on the p2000 scheme. I have worked in orthopaedic, stroke rehabilitation, medical, surgical and elderly care where I had particular role with patients with dementia. I have some experience in diabetic clinic and care. I attended UCE Birmingham and my final dissertation was 'Pain Control in the Elderly' I left nursing as I was a single parent and raising Daughters. I worked in the public House sector as a manager with Greenalls, Bass and Six Continents Retail. I returned to nursing after caring for a relative requiring palliative and terminal care and have been a live in carer since 2016 where i again provided terminal care, supported an elderly couple with dementia and also a client with paraplegia.
