I'm an educated, healthy and honest experienced Carer/PA (20+ yrs elderly/MH [paid/voluntary] and 4.5yrs live-in spinal cord injuries [complete/incomplete]). I also have a background in the leisure industry and Local Government (Visiting Aasessment Officer, Benefit Services). I am a competent driver with a clean driving licence and hold a clear DBS certificate. I have an exemplary sickness record (no sickness days in over 8yrs) and have never let a client down. I have only been working with one client since January 2015 because was reluctant to use agencies and has struggled to find another permanent PA. He has gained more independence and is in better general health now and has now decided that he may cope better with agency staff than he did previously. I am socialable person and would now like to find clients that would like some interaction so that I don't feel so isolated (for my 1-3wk assignments I was confined to a 9ft x 6ft bedroom when not providing care or housekeeping) ...

I am a registered reflexologist from South Africa - but from Greek parents. I have run my practice for over 12 years, I am a nutritionist and also have had my own health radio show called Health Matters on UK Health Radio for 3 years. I also volunteered as a paramedic about 15 years ago - which came in handy with my private contract that I have now since July in the UK. I am a carer for a gentleman in a wheelchair and he is depressed and has attempted suicide twice on my watch. Thank goodness I was able to keep him alive with my background knowledge. I am looking for live in care work till mid November 2017 ...
