As of right now, I do not have care experience, but have wanted to get some for well over year, but the entry cost in Australia was high and jobs not guaranteed on temporary visa. I do know the ins and outs of care work in residential setting through my former partner. I have worked various hospitality jobs and I would rather not continue doing so. Care work is more meaninful indeed. Talking care work and the job satisfaction/meaningfulness and benefits to own personal growth, all of these would be a reason to gain such experience. Although I have more varied background than most, my past training, education and jobs, I believe it should not be an obstacle to secure employment. I returned to UK after living in Australia few years and organising another car coming days also. I have one currently parked up, but it isn't worth taking back to UK. I can do reasonably healthy cooking, have no special religious or dietary requirements, although would obviously accommodate any requirements. I am non-smoker, no drugs use/history either.
