Good Day, I am a UK citizen currently living in South Africa but am seriously considering returning to the UK if I can find suitable caring work, I am a young-at-heart, reasonable fit lady of 61 years, and have a UK driving licence and a BA (Hons) degree from Central/St Martins. I do have a good sense of humour, Iam intelligent, educated and mature, and I really do have a special rapport with animals and enjoy cooking. This position sounds perfect for me. My only hesitation in applying is due to finding myself completely out of my depth with the last lady I cared for who behaviour and personality were increasingly affected by secondary brain tumours. She became quite abusive and I felt trapped in an unsupported environment. So my question is, what would be your response if, despite every effort to be 'flexible and adapt to the client's lifestyle", I felt uncomfortable living in such close proximity with someone who is, essentially, a stranger? I look forward to hearing from you. ...
