Hello! I am a PhD student working towards a doctorate in counselling psychology. I have a background in journalism, veterinary nursing, and a great range of other things, making me well-rounded and adaptable. I enjoy variety. I have been working as a carer/PA for the past number of months with younger adult clients with both physical and developmental disabilities and enjoy the work. I am currently looking for a live-in position on a 1-month rota (although I'm flexible and could do longer shifts as well). I am calm and easy to get along with. I am in my mid fifties, I have worked in many diverse roles which have included Youth Work, Youth Offending service, I have worked with SureStart as a Family Support Worker and most recently as a Community Support Worker supporting an adult recovering from Mental Health issues. I enjoy most leisure pursuits, enjoy travelling, walking, hiking and socialising with family and friends.
