I have been a carer for 18 years, 10 years as a live in carer for and agency then the next 5 years I worked as a PA/carer for a elderly disabled gentleman and after his passing, I was invited by the family, to remain and care for his sister.which I did until her passing in July 2015. I then took up a position with the NHS in a rehabilitation ward in Ely in Cambridgeshire and also work for an agency in care homes on my time off from full time employment with the NHS. I have a Diploma in Nursing and Patient Care, NVQ3 (Health and Social Care), Empowered to Care (Anglian Ruskin Universaty) and an Advanced Certificate in Health and Social Care, to note but a few ...

I have travelled and lived several years abroad. I am divorced but have a 24 year old daughter who works for Southampton Council. My background is banking/stock exchange/teaching and being a qualified (NVQ2) carer. I used to love cooking but, living alone, don't do so much now. I love animals (mostly) and read a lot. I also love doing craftwork, and believe it or not, cleaning! English is my mother tongue, but, I am not very good on the computer apart from basics. ...
