I am 50yo and i enjoy a full and active life which includes hiking, puzzles reading or movies. I am experienced in aged care and Cerebral Palsy clients wanting to mainstream their lives. Between 2006 - 2009 i qualified in NVQ3&4, Adult health and Social Care through City and Guild. My last client was a 19 year old from North London. He attended a mainstream college, loved arranging his own outings to pubs or the theatre. Since i have a drivers license we would take drives out into the country to camp for a few days. I came back to SA because in Visa expired and both my parents were diagnosed with cancer. I chose to spend their last days with them nursing them till their death on their respective side of their bed. I am now in the process of finalizing my parents estate and working as a medical administrator in the frail-care department of a retirement home called Libertas Retirement Centre. As per my Attorneys the estate should be finalized before year end. ...

I have improved my communication skills and problem solving ability compared to when I worked as a caregiver; I understand the unique importance of communication between families and healthcare professionals regarding clients’ condition.
