I’m experienced in all types of care work for the elderly. I worked almost 12 years in a residential home in the UK. Since January 2019 I have worked as a Live in Carer in Bristol and cared for an elderly lady with dementia and mobility difficulties. Unfortunately my placement finished at the end of September. I’m looking for a private live in carer position anywhere in the UK from now on, where I can care for the elderly person for 3-4 weeks on, 1 or 2 weeks off(I'm flexible). I’m registered as self employed. I hold a UK driving licence. I have excellent references from every single of my past placements. ...

I am a proud born South African Carer who have been in the Care Industry for almost 10 years. With some incredible journeys and have met some extraordinary people along the way. working with Spinal Injuries and experience in conditions such as tetraplegic, paraplegic, moving, handling and hoist experience. Other experience in Locked in syndrome, cerebral palsy, dementia, stroke, Parkinson, and end of life, hospital to home aftercare. This includes incontinence, catheter care, peg feeding etc. I am a good driver, I can also drive adapted vehicles that's been modified for clients. I am great at troubleshooting problems in and around the house. Have light maintenance skills. I am a strong individual with a genuine caring attitude.I am easy going have a great deal of experience. I Am flexible,compassionate, have a great sense of humor, love outdoors mad about animals and love cooking. Can participate in almost any conversation as I love reading and stay on top of world. ...
