I am a 31 year old female, I began studying nursing at the age of 18 at John moores university, I completed just under one year of the degree which I feel now was purely down to my age and things going on at home at that time. I decided to travel and see the world so I started working at sea which took me all over the world working with so many different people which open my mind and eyes to life. Recently my nan had taken a stroke quite severe and she was in hospital and a rehabilitation home for 8 weeks in total. She was allowed home providing she would be cared for and supervised as she has become forgetful also. It’s been during the last 4 months that my interest in care work has been reignited.
