With more than 3 year experience as an Admin and Sales/Stock assistant, I am very good with Customers and keeping the office organized and running smoothly. Moreover while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set including first rate phone and face meeting skills. I'm a very young and active 63-year old. I started in care 20 years ago supporting my mum after my dad had a stroke resulting in vascular dementia. Later, I cared for my mum, also in her beloved home. Some time after this I realised caring could be the perfect winter job for me. In summer I run my own little gardening business. I have found this balance perfect, and over the last 5 years have helped numerous people with a wide range of disabilities. I love my own home, therefore I understand that others love theirs. I enjoy the challenge of adapting to a new place, of meeting people and learning about their unique lives, of being efficient while also companionable. However I'm not over-chatty and can occupy myself easily with numerous activities such as reading and knitting. I have a car and usually drive to placements. ...
