I am Gabriela Ruta and as a short brief, i finished an internal basic training in Agincare that covered standard themes like role understanding, duty of care, fluids and nutrition, awareness of mental health,dementia and learning disabilities, safeguarding, health and safety, moving and handling and infection prevention. After training i had one week, 40 hours training in residential house where i had the opportunity to put into practice my knowledge and learn more about standard themes that have been discussed during the theoretical course. Final part of induction took part in a placement where i have been a TLC to a male pacient suffering by MS and a beginning of memory loss. I've been supposed to work just two weeks as a TLC, but i remained there six weeks as a TLC, because there were not available placements, further i have been put on waiting until new work can be available. ...
