I am a hardworking person who really enjoys care work. One of my younger brother is a service user for many years. It is through watching support and care worker administering care to him that as encouraged me to first get involved with volunteering for my local shelter group, completing advocacy work for young adults, gaining years of experience by working for companies and authorities who were offing care and support to individuals experiencing mental health, challenging behaviour, various types of abuse. I have worked in several environments residential and private homes as a support and care worker. I have been employed for the past 7 years as a live in care worker. I do administer medication as part of my duties. I work very well with my colleagues, families and other organisations related to care. My practice is client centred.
