I currently live in north/west Devon with my wife, two cats, three ducks, six hens and three bee hives. I have spent the last 10 months looking after an frail, elderly lady. living in with her for five days a week and with her family covering for me at the weekend. This entailed:- cooking her meals, helping with mobility, assistance with medication, and taking her out for both appointments and for social activities. This position has sadly ended as a family member who has lost her job, has taken mine, so I am now in search of new work .. Prior to this I have worked in an old peoples home and for many years looked after adults with learning difficulties and mental issues. I have an NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care and an NVQ 3 in Hospitality and Catering. ...
