I am a caring individual, who is passionate about working with people. I am looking for a change in my career were I am still able to exercise my exiting skills which will utilise my attention to detail in a friendly but professional manner. My past experience of working as a Healthcare Agency Worker in Nursing Homes has affirmed my interest with working with the elderly, although it was an occasional job, I quickly found fulfilment, purpose, and enjoyment, and the need to do my best. This meant treating people with dignity, involving them in decision making, giving them privacy and their own space, but yet being around for a conversation and companionship. It reinforced in me to remember that the elderly still have plenty to offer, a wealth of wisdom, among many things. Nursing Homes I feel are rushed and client's Person Centered Care is put in jeopardy. My daily rate £140 this is open to conversation, travel expenses to and from work and home not included. ...
