I have ecently finished working as a live in carer due to my client passing away. I have over 25 years experience in care and l have been a live in carer for almost 4 years. I have a DBS on the update system. I have experience of continence management, administering medication, supervising a team, cooking, cleaning, shopping, accompanying to appointments, personal care, writing reports, team work and lone working, to name but a few. I am friendly, approachable, caring, empathetic, flexible, a good communicator and have a good sense of humour. I have worked with clients with dementia, alzheimers, transient ischaemia attacks, epilepsy, mental health issues, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, bowel and continence problems, diabetes, stroke, cancer, heart conditions, lung conditions, end of life, palliative, to name but a few. I have in depth knowledge of ceiling and manual hoists, standing aids such a sarah steddy and rotunda, wheelchairs, walking frames, etc. I am looking for another live in care position. ...
