Hello my name is Catalin I have been working in health care for couple years now. Caring for other people makes me feel valued. I have wonderful relationships with my clients. Caring for others comes natural to me. My first experience of care, was when I looked after my grandfather Jack for the last four years of his life. My grandfather suffered from Parkinsons disease and vascular dementia which meant for most of the time he was able to care for himself independently with my support. I assisted him with meal preparation, medication and supported him with completing daily living tasks and personal care. When my grandfather was no longer around, I realised that being a carer brought me a lot of joy and that it would be an honour to care for the family members of others, so I applied to college. Since then I have worked in home care and hospital care and most recently as a live in carer since March 2020. I have never been a very sporty person but I love being outdoors. In my spare time I like reading, attending concerts, crafts and baking. I have a very close family so spending time with them and our dogs is also very important to me. ...
