I have looked after my late father when he had a partial stroke and sometimes loss of memory. I supported him with bathing, hair groom, dressing and meal preparation . I supported him to walk with a stick walking alongside with him so that he does not fall down. Looking after him gave me so much joy and awakened the strength I never knew I had. This caring made Looking after my children so easy and I continue to have passion for Looking after people with ill health. My grandmother too enjoyed my care in her old age before she finally died at the age of 97. Caring has become part of me and the passion I have for it is not something I can describe. The reason l have applied for this job is that it ticks all my boxes that l am looking for at this present time, usages of my skills and accomplishments which l think make me a good candidate for this job. I am reliable, caring, contentious person open to new opportunities for personal growth and l have obtained a lot of experience in my home life assisting and supporting a family member with dementia, using training access in previous post has homemaker which included sensory stimulation, moving and handling, preparing meals for residents plus assisting residents at meal times. Making sure kitchen and on house environment were cleaned to Health and Safety standard. Interacting with residents using the butterfly technique to interact and motivate residents.
