Dear LiveincareJobs special person I became a carer because I genuinely enjoy spending time with people and supporting them to live independently. Being a live-in carer allows me to make a positive difference in someone’s daily life and to contribute meaningfully to society. I started care work in June 2023 and have since undergone extensive professional training with my care agency, including annual refresher and update courses. I have provided assisted home care to a range of clients, including those living with dementia and other complex needs. I have a current DBS certificate, as well as completed course certificates. My care training covers a wide range of essential areas, including: Medication administration, Infection control, Moving and handling, End-of-life and stroke awareness care, First aid, Food hygiene, Dementia awareness, Learning disabilities, Nutrition and hydration.
