I am a 25 year old female who has worked in a mixture of care situations - 1:1 disability support worker, elderly and dementia care in a care home - travelled to Canada for three years working as an Au Pair supporting a client with high medical needs. I moved out of their family home after a year to live independently and continued to support the client for a further 2 years before having to come home due to visa ending. I loved my time there so much and was absolutely gutted to have to return. Now living back home in Hertfordshire with my family providing care to the elderly living in their own homes. Whilst living in Canada I enjoyed being outside and hiking whenever a opportunity arose, since moving home my fitness has gone back down quite a bit. I am hoping to be near the countryside where there are plenty of hiking opportunities when I can do. I find the countryside very relaxing and peaceful and would like to get away from my busy town.
