Hello, i'm a DBS checked British woman in my late 40's with up to date training and an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, and i have many years of experience of working as a carer of the elderly in their own homes (both on a live in and live out basis). And i'm currently looking for the following types of care work: Regular Rota Live in care work (such as one or two weeks on/off and Short term holiday cover/respite care live in positions and i'm also happy to consider placements anywhere in England (if the client will cover travel expenses to and from the placement from where i live in South East England). i'm a non-driver so i prefer placements which are within walking distance of amenities and/or public transport. I prefer to work on a self employed basis for private clients or through introductory care agencies, caring for elderly clients who are still mobile (with or without walking aids) and who generally require minimal night time assistance. I'm happy to assist with all the usual activities of daily living, companionship, collecting prescriptions and prompting medications, personal care, shopping, cooking, housework, laundry, light gardening and accompanying clients to appointments and liasing with family members and others involved in the clients' care etc. ...
