Greetings. My name is Brad, Im a 32 year old Caucasian South African. I am in the process of applying for my ancestral visa. I am hoping to find a live-in position before I depart South Africa. Once I have secured an employment letter I can process my visa application and be eligible to enter the UK three months later. I have no professional experience as a care-giver, however, I have personal experience looking after my grandmother for a year before she passed on. My duties included administering medication, cooking, cleaning, wound care (I am qualified in First Aid), mobility assistance, toilet assistance, reading and companionship. As she slipped further into dementia I have experience with the obstacles the disease imposes. I have further experience working with children(aged 3-7), as well as pre-teens, adolescents and teenagers. This experience came from teaching English, music, swimming and various other sports. I have worked in various fields, including teaching, fishing, farming and farm management, music and entertainment and outdoor guides.
