To whom it may concern My name is Miss Camella Frater and I have over fifteen years professional and personal experience within the Childcare sector i.e.Nursery Nurse, Play Worker, Nanny and Child Care, care,Support Worker. I viewed your vacancy as a Live in Carer. I am interested in the positions and available for a interview with immediate effect. I believe I am the correct Candidate for the job role because of my genuine passion and understanding people in general. I am patient, kind, understanding, approachable, loving, humble, fair, enthusiastic, have a cheerful and bubbly personality, have a creative mind, have mentoring skills, a eye for detail and treat people fairly in general. I am able to work on my own in a busy pressurized environment but I am also able to work in a strong team with others with families and external agencies. The Main duty would be to assess daily living skills and help people to build physical and emotional caring abilities through a range of practical activities whilst bonding with them and keeping them safeguarded. I will help Clients with learning and development. enhance their ' understanding of different daily tasks and strategies whilst providing practical home care management and daily personal care whilst allowing them to live independently. The focus of my job role is to provide support to Clients , empowering them to address various challenges, reducing problems and risks and, in all cases, helping to make sure that Clients can remain safe with me and with their family whilst reducing risks around the home. I may help with a range of social and personal issues or specialise in a particular area such as coping methods, health issues, mental incapacity, autism, ADHD, physical disorder and overall issues that effect their daily living. I will work in partnership to assess and support the Clients with external Agencies to make sure my Client is receivcing tee best possible care. My role will vary depending on the needs and care plan for the Clients I'm helping, but I may also have a specialist area, depending on the care package tailored to each Individual. Areas I specialise in are as follows, Communication Privacy and Dignity Fluids and Nutrition Awareness of mental health, dementia and learning disabilities Safeguarding adults Safeguarding children Basic life support Health and safety Move and assist safely Understand medication and healthcare tasks Handling information Infection prevention and control Mental capacity Paediatric first aid Cooking Laundry Ironing. General cleaning and tidy Shopping online and or in person Taking Clients out in the community I do have certificates and happy to show to enquiring Families upon request. I am seeking either a contract based and or self employed role that is long term flexible and on going. I much prefer to work on a rota basis with other Carers so I am more than happy to share the role with either another Carer or the Clients Family Member. I am happy to work the following rota patterns, Two week on/off Three week on/off 4weeks+ longer ongoing periods I am also flexible with doing longer periods on the basis of emergency, out of human control circumstances and or if the Client has had hospitalised treatments. (to be discussed) Salary £700 - £850+ PW Or as below £1000-1200 +PW for more complex needs and or couples. I am happy to be paid weekly or monthly Weekly would be at the end of each working week. Requirements Weekly food allowance separate from wages. This could also be added into weekly shop for foods of my choice I will pay for more if I desire more. My own bedroom preferred own shower / bathroom (clean) 2 hour break daily I have my own wifi/data Work on average of 10 hours per day but of course this will include down time and breaks as working in Clients home is more relaxed as opposed to a busy office in the City. I am open to working outside of London but if this if the case the Family/ Client would need to pay my travel there and back to London as it would be out of my normal travel Zone.
