My name is Kyle Rhys Condron, I am thirty years old, with a young soft heart. I know I am suitable for this position because I have been caring for people my whole working life. I’m an extremely hard worker and the type of person to go above and beyond for people. Compassion is in the heart of everything I do, and everything I have done in both my professional and personal life. I have eleven years experience working in a secondary school with children who have severe autism, as well as a range of other medical and developmental needs. Being in this role I learnt to adapt and notice dangers before they became apparent. I also had to deescalate some physical behaviours so that everyone was kept safe. I left my role to work with a thirteen year old boy at his home. He needed constant one to one care, including prompt medication administered via a peg, feeding, bathing, and many other duties. This role also included working nights, so I am no stranger to being vigilant even during the late hours. Although all my working life has been centred around children aged between eleven and sixteen, I’ve had experience helping my poorly grandad with his care and house, and though he doesn’t have dementia, his mother does, so I have had some experiences with what it entails, and with helping her. I will be a quick and careful adapter to the new things I would learn about this condition, and the effects it has on your clients way of life. My priority will always be the happiness and welfare of who ever I work with, and that they get treated with the same respect and dignity I would wish on my own family.
