I am a mature lady and an experienced carer, mother of two girls. Care was part of my life through looking after my grand parents. I personally helped my mum to look after her parents for more than five years. Naturally i am a compassionate person and i love caring and making a difference in people's live especially the vulnerable. Also church voluntary work also exposed me to care because i used to visit children's homes and old people's homes. I then cemented this experience by taking a home based care certificate from St Johns international organization to perfect some skills. ...

I am a very hard working, dedicated person. I take my duties very seriously and I alway make sure I do the very best I can. I can easily pick up new skills and adapt well to new environments. I am also a very caring and compassionate person and considerate of other people's needs. Last year my mother got really sick and I left my job to take care of her. I bathed her, clothed her, fed her and helped her get to the hospitals. Years before my mother got sick my father was very ill as well, before he passed I was taking care of him as well. I did a lot of lifting because he was weak and couldn't move. I was also feeding him a lot. I have some experience in caring for others. I have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoke. I've worked as an assistant before and good communication, both written and spoken, is very important in this field. In addition to communication skills, I also developed good time management skills. ...
