I’m Lyndsey I’m 45 and I’m a proffessional carer I’ve been a carer as far back as I can remember as I looked after my mum who has ms as a child, I then looked after my grandparents (end of life) by moving in with them giving them round the clock care. As I got older I decided to join victim support caring for victims of many crimes which I thoroughly enjoyed, moving on from there I started to work in care homes caring for people with dementia which I loved . I left to become a full time live in carer for a friend’s grandparent who had a stroke due to a brain tumour which progressed very fast leading to her death, I was with her the whole time. I find my job very rewarding I am very diligent and show empathy to everyone i care for I put 100% into everything I do. Ensuring my clients get the best care possible.
