After many years working in care as both a support worker and manager I have spent the last nine years working as a self employed live in care worker. This has been for an agency and private families. I have worked with a variety of clients all of who had different needs. I prefer to work for one to two weeks at a time. I have just completed my Care Certificate and mandatory training. I have an up to date D.B..S. and have carers insurance. The agency that I work with for are based in Cheshire and Wales so I am seeking a post nearer to home. I am looking for work in Derbyshire within 50 miles of home. ...

Currently working in hospitality and have previous care experience. To get a better idea of who i am on a more personal level please read the following excerpt from my Workaway profile. I like the outdoors walking my way through the UK. Walking from Yorkshire to Inverness and climbing Ben Nevis. Practising bushcraft and opening myself up towards self discovery. The Pennines, the West Highland Way and more recently Brecon. During Lockdown no' 1 I took up care work for 3 months and from 2015-18 worked as a trainee Property Surveyor. I am into gardening and having finished 2 weeks living in a Sheppard's hutt learning about and working on a permaculture project In the South Downs. I love immersing myself in nature having lived two weeks isolated in the celtic foothills of Llyne Brianne. Also appreciate the spiritual harmony attained from looking into Bhuddism having lived in Tara centre Derbyshire and Yorkshire centres. Whilst being groundsman for their large estates. ...
