I am 61 yrs of age & been in the caring profession since I was 17. Also did voluntary work in a hospital at weekends when I was still at school from 15 yrs . Worked in nursing homes , hospitals, & on the district for care at home services . I enjoy my work as a carer & a companion I am a good listener , caring , & go over & beyond the call off duty . My favourite animal is cats , I like to read , knit , play cards, game boards , At the moment I am self employed looking after a gentleman with Alziemers who is on palliative care & been bed bound now for 6 yrs (Live in) one week on & one week off.
