I am 48 year's old and live alone. I was living and caring for my mother before she passed away in 2019. My mother was my best friend, and although her health did fail, I never saw the care provided as care. I just viewed it in terms of being a human being and that is what we all should do, and can do, if we apply compassion. I have also worked as a professional carer, for most of my life. I have done so in a home for young adults, with severe autism, and also a residential home for the elderly. I have more than 4 years of experience looking after elderly woman, and when she passed away, I was assigned by my employer to another elderly woman, however she again passed away. I do personal care like assisting with bathing, dressing, continence support.
