I have been working exclusively as a spinal cord injury carer for almost two years now and have experience with SMA recently for the past 3 months. I have experience with catheter care, hoisting, bowel management (manual evacuation and Navina system (water system)), and know about Nifedipine administration in cases of emergency. I’m very hardworking, very hygienic and gentle. I have been a carer for over 3years now and have experience and training in various fields including muscular dystrophy/atrophy, epilepsy, autism, dimentia, end of life, multiple sclerosis,just to mention a few. I have training in- - [ ] Dimentia level 1-4 - [ ] Cerebral Palsy - [ ] Food hygiene and preparation - [ ] Catheter care - [ ] First aid - [ ] End of life care - [ ] Hoisting - [ ] Manual handling and moving - [ ] Safeguarding of adults and children I am constantly renewing my training and always willing to learn more. I was a kindergarten teacher for 6years in China teaching English. This has taught me the art of patience, flexibility and adaptability in a place where language was a barrier.
