For the past 10 years I have worked as a baker and barista. Previous to this my career had been in care for both the elderly and young people. During covid I ensured that vulnerable friends and family were well and safe by visiting them, making meals and doing any shopping that they needed and this made me realise that I missed working in this sector. My present employment will soon be coming to an end due to the business selling and this has given me the ability to change direction and return to working in care. I'm wanting to do live in care a week on and a week off or may consider two weeks on and two off as this will allow me to build a relationship with the client and give me a work life balance.
