I have a number of transferable skills gained in my previous employment with G4S that will stand me in a good stead for Carer position. Having worked in a custodial environment and with individuals with a wide range of needs, criminal history and both physical and mental health issues, I am very aware of the level of care, support and empathy required to allow these vulnerable individuals to thrive. I feel it is important to ensure residents, especially young people, have an environment and appropriate level of support that allows them to feel free to express their feelings and live a happy and productive life as they move forward. On a personal note, I believe that I am a dynamic but very approachable person, that has the ability to make someone feel at ease and with time, to open up to me with any issues they may be facing.
