Nursing has been something I have always loved, I feel privileged and proud to be a registered Nursing Associate. I have cared for others for over 27 years starting off in a care home with elderly residents, currently i work at fracture clinic QMC and also spent time on wards i have cared for all individual needs but also assisting with the care they require this includes listening to them when they need someone to talk to and supporting individuals and families. I enjoy looking after people, I have over 5 years experience of direct care work and previously I worked as a personal trainer so I am used to working flexibly and adjusting to different needs and requirements from person to person. I am hard working, compassionate, and always maintain a positive and cheerful attitude. I like completing tasks to a high standard and pay close attention to details. English is my first language and I am able to communicate both verbally and written in a clear and direct manner. I also speak fluent Spanish and very good French. I am active, fit and healthy and enjoy cooking fresh healthy meals from scratch. I have worked with adults with severe and complex needs and young people in care, and prior to that I looked after my mother for 3 years while she had Dementia.
