My name is Janaina and registered in Adult Nursing, I have been working in the care sector for the past 9 years in a variety of health boards: GGC as HCA (Acute, Mental Health Wards also as a Nurse Vaccinator, NHS Highlands HCA (Acute, Mental health wards, Community ECTT), NHS Lanarkshire as HCA (Acute and Vaccinators) and Marie Curie as HCA for palliative care. I am a flexible, motivated, dynamic, and very enthusiastic person. I am currently working as a labour ward midwife, I have a nursing background although I have let my qualification lapse a few years ago. I feel I can no longer give the high standard of care I want to give to the patients in the NHS, therefore I am looking at other avenues in the caring profession. I enjoy caring for people, sitting chatting, doing things with people or for people that give them joy or happiness. I feel that being a live in carer may be the avenue that helps me fulfil my vocation and whilst bringing happiness to someone. ...
