Worked in both the private and public sector, with a wide range of clients from children and their families to adults and the elderly. As part of the assessment team during my studies, but also as a volunteer, I offered support and help to children in dysfunctional families. I was a nurse in the pediatric and oncology department; also I worked with disability individuals, learning disabilities and mental health.My passion to help people in need motivated me and I love what I do ;) Skills:- Shift leader at previous job, highly organized, flexible and able to prioritize effectively - Positive, emphatic, caring person, confident and able in what I do - Excellent communication skills and professional team worker - stress resistance, work in shifts availability Working under direction of a healthcare professional team and using a person-centered approach, with the aim of maximizing the independence, well-being and choice of clients, living with dementia, Alzheimer, learning disabilities and other needs. Responsible for ensuring patients are safe, and helping them to reach their maximum potential. Providing care and support for clients in different settings, such as daily care being sensitive to every individual’s need and working as part of the team to secure their welfare and comfort; regular supervision/ meetings with professional team, medication, appointments ,food etc ...
