I'm Eleni, 55 years old from Greece. I arrived in the UK on October 2017. I worked for several different agencies and I'm looking for a suitable placement. I usually work 10 weeks on 2 weeks off. I've got NVQ2 in Personal Care, Safe Administration of Medicines, Management of Diabetes and Dementia. Also NVQ3 at End of Life. I'm a very good cook, I do care for others and Greek hospitality runs through my veins. I'm a fast learner, I like travelling, I'm adaptive and extremely calm, trustful and honest person. I like poetry and music, I love simple things like a smile, a flower or a hug, things that make our life better. DBS on the update service, I don't drive. I'd like to start ASAP. So far I dealed with dementia, cancer, COPD, cerebral palsy, stroke, moving and handling, peg feed, catheter care, asthma, arthritis, MND and MS. Hard working, responsible, reliable and kind hearted, I will bring a change for better. Even if it appears grim. I have been a carer in the UK since 2011 both employed and privately (since 2016). I am reliable, organized, cleanly and, not a bad problem solver - when needed . I also and do not panic in a challenging situation. Apart from assisting my clients directly, I have also an experience in managing a small team of carers within a re-ablement project in cooperation with the NHS. I am UK DBS checked and have completed all the relevant training certificates: Medicine Administration Moving and handling Infection Control Adult Safeguarding Mental Capacity Act First Aid and so on.
