Hello I'm an experienced PA for the spinally injured and could apply my skills to those with SMA too. My work has seen me managed those experiencing autonomic dysreflexia and other maladies. Generally, my day sees me checking for pressure sores, first thing in the morning before a wash, administering meds, helping with bathroom routine and hoisting to and from beds / chairs. Repositioning is also routine with 'hip flicks' delivered on-demand. If you like to go out and about, we'd get along well - I can drive most vehicles including automatic and manual cars. I recently took a client out to the Mercedez Benz Museum in Weybridge for a ride in a super car (He enjoyed it more than me. I sat in the back and nearly threw up).
