I started my love for social work at the age of 15 by volunteering at Hospices and working with children. In my early twenties I completed a Home Based Care course through St. John Ambulance. I received placement at a frail care, and I loved it. I completely adored the work and was especially drawn to the extremely frail and Alzheimer's patients. It truly brought me joy. I miss the work and would appreciate the opportunity to do what I love. Due to Care Work being a minimum wage job in South Africa I decided to start office work in order to provide for myself and I have worked my way from Receptionist to Executive Assistant at a very sucocessful legal practice. I have been employed at this firm for 12 years. I would describe myself as someone who is positive, dedicated and self-motivated. Combined with my experience, as a care worker and my administrative capabilities I believe that I can make a valuable contribution to your company. ...
