I have worked both in a professional setting and in a private setting, I have experience with dementia, moving and handling, continence care , food and fluid support and end of life care to name but a few. My DBS is up to date and on the update service. I am a keen gardener, cook, and love to see the countryside. I understand the importance of supporting a loved one so that they can stay in their own familiar surroundings. I am looking for a live in position long term, perhaps 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. salary to be negotiated. I have had great respect and love for old people since I was a child. I had a very close relationship with my grandparents, and I took part in their care. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to work in the care sector in both the UK and the Netherlands. I gained a lot of experience as a Care Assistant in a nursing home, as a Domiciliar Carer, and as a Live-in carer. I like this job with all its challenges. I would like to develop professionally in various fields, primarily as dementia and end-of-life caregiver. I believe that every person has the right to age with dignity and end their life. I would like to contribute with my experience, my work, and my empathetic, reliable, enthusiastic personality and provide the necessary support and care to those elderly people who need to solve their everyday problems. ...
