Good day My name is Rita, I have experience as a live-in carer for 13 years in the UK. I am caring, honest, patient, reliable, empathetic a good listener with a good sense of humour. I enjoy cooking, reading, walking. I enjoy watching sport and Discovery channels. My experience covers: 1. advanced personal care, 2. incontinence care, 3. Minor mobility issues, i.e. Clients using zimmer frames and walking sticks to mobilise and a stairlift. 4. short term memory loss, 5. Minor stroke, 6. disposable stoma care, 7. Catheter bag administration 8. Covene management 9. Medication administration 10. COPD. 11. Depression 12. Alcoholism 13. Diabetic nutrition management 14. Administering medication. 15. Organising and taking clients to doctors and dentist appointment 16. organizing chiropody visits. 17. Catering for clients friends, 18. organizing outings, 19. cooking housekeeping and basic cleaning. 20. Foot and ankle massage 21. Organised installation of Occupational therapy needs in the home I reared my two children as a divorcee with great success. They both have university degrees, well adjusted and independent. I cared, for my terminally ill husband for 4 years . Duties: feeding, cooking, laundry, cleaning, personal care. Ensuring sufficient nutrition was consumed regularly. Ensured that medication was taken, convene management, catheter bag management and ensured my husband administered his insulin.
