I'm a psychology student with great interest in healthcare industry. I love helping people and making great difference in their lives. I have limited UK experience but I worked as a volunteer in a hospital for some months in my country home, helping elderly service users, with health challenges requiring medical attention. Besides, I also took care of a geriatric man for about six months, handling his medications, preparing meals for him, and monitoring the other activities of his daily routine plan. Also as a mother, I understand the duty of care vested in me to take care of vulnerable people, particularly children, and adults. I am ready to facilitate and ensure the dignity of every client and assist them with their independence in attaining their daily activities, goals, and plans. My summer holiday starts from 22nd of May till end of September and willing to commit myself fully to the progress of your organisation during this time and on a part time role during term-time. ...

My name is Noel a 36 years old individual living in Edinburgh for almost 4 years and in that time I've gained more than one year of experience working as a Live In Carer with elderly people and people with disabilities (visual impairment, terminal tumour, etc). Currently I'm working as Personal Assistant for a young man who suffered from a spinal cord injury and requires one person to assist him in a way he can live more independently. I stay with him in a week basis. As I'm missing assisting elderly people due their genuine kindness, something that bright anyone's day, I also would like to apply as a live in carer in hope it can become my second job as I still have too much free time left when not assisting my client.
