I became a carer starting in 2008, I was employed by my client through social services, I would help her from bed to wheelchair, shower, change stomer, medication and day to day chores and activities. Some days she just wanted the company and we would just talk for hours. Sadly after years of being with her she passed. I soon went back in to care and looked after a lovely lady that had brain damage and was in a care home. I would clean her, pamper her and just keep her company a few days a week. I also care for my elderly nan, who isn't mobile, I cook, clean do shopping and any other duties needed. I have recently been caring for a elderly gentleman with dementia. Unfortunately he has became alot worse so has now got a live in carer. I have a in date CRB certificate and public liability insurance and I can also provide references if need. ...

Hello I been doing live in care for the last 10 years. I am very experienced in all types of Dementia and Strokes and other brain injuries Spinal Injuries autism Epilepsy ABI end of life care too. Also Parkinsons and Multiple Systems Atrophy and amputees.I am a driver with a clean licence And my own. And was taught to drive with the Police so very safe and careful. I love to cook and visit other countries I have a house in Newton Abbot so I can work 3-4 weeks on 4 weeks off . Very reliable good sense of humour good in emergency situations use to be on the Highways Agency emergency desk covering the motorways. Now I love caring and helping people feel safe in their own home I have worked with several Titled persons and can be relied on for security and safety. I have worked with 3 persons with MSA during my time with Miracle Workers agency so i have good experience in this type of illness and i have cared for around 6 persons with Parkinsons my present lady for the last 3 years. My manager at Live in Care will do a reference also the family will too. if you want to speak to me please email me as not always available to answer the phone but do please text me and i will return the call. After 4 weeks on 4 weeks off jobs. ...available now as my lady has since gone into a nursing home .I have a DBS from November and online update to view i drive and own a car.
