Having started working in care at 18, I have always has a heart for adding value in the care sector. Through my 9 years of care experience, I have worked with male and female clients with varying care complexities and needs such as cerebral palsy to dementia and physical impairments. I strive to work with the needs and desires of the client in a compliant and safe manner however I've found great joy in being able to form a level of companionship extending the normal care duties. I've found that care is about character and personality; allowing an environment which allows clients to feel they can freely express themselves about their care and themselves. I've found this make the job very rewarding and adds to the quality of care clients receive.
