Hi my name is Lesley. I have over 14 years of experience in the care sector from elderly care within a acute dementia ward, to a locked psychiatric ward along with community work, within the NHS. I also have experience in personal care having worked all through covid in a community role along with residential care. I believe that a caring role is to give your personality along with experience. I have a great sense of humour and always use this in my roles. I am caring and have a good eye for detail. I do not panic when a crisis occurs, I am able to think on my feet and solve problems without any stress to anyone around me. I would describe myself as an experienced, multi-talented caring and responsible person with lots of passion for my work and very much dedicated to the welfare and wellbeing of my clients. Over nine years` UK experience as a live-in carer I have worked with both male and female service users, went to great lengths to keep them socially active by taking/driving them to social events like church, theatre, cinema, parties, holidays abroad etc. I pride myself on my cooking skills as a trained chef (NVQ3) and helping my clients to entertain guests and family, and also take an odd cake with them to day-centres or home-baked bread to church communions. I have obtained lots of experience in working with other professionals (doctors, nurses, hospitals, social workers, occupational therapists etc.), which was taken one step further in the more recent part of my life when I worked as a UK qualified social worker (MSc with distintion) with various service user groups. I hold British-Hungarian dual citizenship and can freely travel between the two countries without any restrictions. ...
