I am a dedicated, hardworking and optimistic individual who is confident in making differences in other people’s lives. My experience varies from young adults to the elderly both in establishments and in their own homes. I have gained a lot of knowledge from working with healthcare professionals. I am able to do general observations such as BP, sugar levels, body temperature, assist with medication, changing dressings (bandages) and use of equipment such as hoist, standing aids, equipped bathrooms, sliding sheets, commode, transferring boards etc. My duties with live in clients and supported living include personal care (toileting, washing, bathing), assisting with and feeding, medication and prompting, housekeeping, cooking, laundry, shopping, keeping up with the diary (GP & hospital appointments, visitors, answering and making phone calls, updating family members).
